Polish soprano Dominika Zamara earned early artistic recognition in her home country. In 2007, she graduated with honors from the Wrocław University of Music, and soon thereafter relocated to Italy to continue her artistic development. Awarded a scholarship to the Verona State Conservatory, she studied in masterclasses with Alida Ferrarini, Bruno Pola, and Enrico De Mori—whose mentorship proved deeply influential.

Ms. Zamara made her operatic debut in 2010 as Mimì in La Bohème under the baton of Maestro De Mori. Acclaimed for her radiant vocal color, expressive phrasing, and compelling stage presence, she has since established an internationally active career across Europe, the United States, Mexico, Argentina, China, South Korea, and Australia, spanning opera, lieder and art song, chamber music, and contemporary repertoire.

Notable engagements:

include performances with Sinfonia Toronto under Maestro Nurhan Arman;

Mozart’s Exsultate Jubilate with the National Orchestra of Mexico under Maestro Victor Contreras;

  • Centro Naval, recital appearances in Buenos Aires;

  • Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center in New York;

  • Teatro Olimpico (Vicenza);

  • Verdi Theater (Padua);

  • Manuel Ponce Hall (Mexico City);

  • Atterbury Theatre (Pretoria);

  • The Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music (Rome);

  • The World Youth Day in Krakow, in the presence of the Pope.

She has also appeared at La Biennale di Venezia, the Mythos Opera Festival (performing Aida in Taormina), and the inauguration of the InCanto Barocco Festival in Sicily. In 2023, Ms. Zamara joined the New York Composer Circle as an International Performing Artist.

Ms. Zamara maintains a wide-ranging repertoire from Baroque to contemporary music, with a special affinity for Mozart, bel canto, and modern works. She is currently engaged in a recital project illuminating the musical dialogue between Vincenzo Bellini and Fryderyk Chopin, celebrating their friendship and shared artistic sensibilities.
