Beethoven Symphony No. 3 Part 7 Continuing with our series of programs dedicated to Beethoven's Nine Symphonies. Today, Anna Ouspenskaya and Chris Ka Long Au explore Symphony No. 3. After watching part of the film, stay tuned for an engaging discussion. Beethoven’s Third Symphony, Eroica, marks a decisive break from Classical convention. Monumental in scale and ambition, it expands sonata form, intensifies harmonic tension, and treats thematic material with unprecedented developmental weight. The symphony is driven by bold rhythmic motives, abrupt contrasts, and a pervasive sense of struggle and transformation. Originally conceived in a heroic vein, Eroica presents not triumph alone but conflict, loss, and hard-won resolution, establishing a new model for the symphony as a dramatic and philosophical statement. More about Architects of Music: https://www.youtube.com/@thearchitectsofmusic BEETHOVEN’S UNIVERSE In this ongoing series, Lawrence Rapchak examines each movement of Beethoven’s symphonies, revealing their inner structures and illuminating the architecture of each complete work. No other program about Beethoven’s symphonies has been created in this fashion, and it is our hope to present all nine of these masterpieces in the coming months. To accompany the audio in each episode, the Virtual Concert Halls team has created a visually engaging experience. The visuals include composer portraits, full scores and piano reductions with highlighted passages, performance photos, landscapes to support the narrative, and curated images of Beethoven himself. Beethoven Symphony No. 3 Part 6 Continuing with our series of programs dedicated to Beethoven's Nine Symphonies. The album, which will be available on Spotify, Amazon, Tidal and other online outlets, is intended as a response to the wave of violence against Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) individuals, and aims to promote understanding and tolerance among people of all backgrounds. It features Ms. Weng Friedman and soprano Indira Mahajan performing music by composers Margaret Bonds, Beata Moon, Florence B. Price, and Chinary Ung. By listening to each track on Heritage and Harmony: Silver Linings, they can enjoy the glorious music of incredible but under-represented BIPOC composers and musicians while also making a small but valuable contribution to the AAPI community.” For more information, contact: Donna Weng Friedman donnawengfriedman@gmail.com 동영상 보기 동영상 보기 53:21 Sadie Goodman, flute - Sound Espressivo Laureates' Recital Program: 2:57 Jules Mouquet - La Flûte de Pan (I. • Innovative | Sound Espressivo

How innovative is your art? Find out here! Sound Espressivo is the first online LIVE streaming Competition for classical musicians of all ages. Contestants and judges focus on unique artistry of every performer, awarding prizes offered by music management companies. innovative Find ways to express music that's never been heard before and charms everyone away! In-Depth There's lots of music that has withstood ages and generations, but such music was once new and innovative, composed or performed in a way that was never heard or seen before. Without new, there can be no progress to new heights and discoveries. The difficult part is always finding something new that can connect the audience to your idea and get them to be able to follow along and join on your moving train of transformation. General Criteria (평가기준) New - purpose of innovation is to try and explore new ways of expressing and delivering music that enriches our experience of it from a new angle. This is essential. Cohessive - all elements of what you're doing must be wrapped neatly together in order for you to be able to string along others on your journey, especially people who may not arrive at the comprehension the same way you did. Meaning - all the new needs to have a goal greater than just being different and "not done before." It needs to serve and express a meaning and connect to a feeling and the audience Resonant - the last and very important part of coming up with new creative interpretations and pursuits is for it to be innately clear enough that it can truly impact us and turn some heads.
